all of which have had criminalised elements on a basis that was later 'overturned' - Prisoners held in relation to drug offences would fit very much into this catagory. Obviously Prisoners will likely vote for politicians pursuing improvements in Prison conditions, but by having universal sufferage ... But those prisoners that are coming up to release should be helped to integrate back into society and being allowed to vote could be a sensible part of that rehabilitation.
